What does “Bright Spaces for Bright Kids" Mean for Imagine Academy Corp?
We have engaged with a local flooring company to install new carpeting and flooring in our training, play and social spaces. Upgrading and creating new carpeted and vinyl floor areas will increase the look and feel of Imagine Academy by giving children new and more colorful spaces to move, play and socialize.
This project serves our Mission of "All Children Belong." At Imagine Academy, ALL CHILDREN are empowered to build confidence, strength and friendships with caring mentors who coach with compassion and develop play focused activities that promote teamwork and create an environment of BELONGING. Simply Put: All Children Belong at Imagine Academy.
What are the benefits of "All Children Belong?"
Respite services for children with physical and neurological difference are difficult for families to find. Imagine Academy is providing a safe, respectful and responsible inclusive program for ALL children to belong. With additional space, our outreach efforts will include further into Dane County, Rock County, and Green County. Respite service at Imagine Academy allow family care givers an opportunity to meet their own needs while knowing that their children are also gaining confidence, strength and friendships.
Planned Upgrades
- New carpeted flooring in our training, play and social spaces.
- Vinyl flooring in our snack and table games space.
- Vinyl entryway to capture outdoor elements before entering our play spaces.
- Newly painted blue and yellow walls.
Our total cost for upgrades from Walgenmeyer's Carpet and Tile is quoted at $19,200
We estimate our painting costs to be ~$800. We are working with our board of directors and parent ambassadors to help us paint the space ourselves. Your donation will help purchase paint and pizza for the volunteer painters.
